Gingrich is his own man albeit former architect of the former GOP "revolution". Wonder what he's got in store not only for the Tea Party but for Bachmann?

Gingrich used to know what worked to give the GOP the edge, but he didn't have the Tea Party to deal with. I'll wager that the team which walked out on him earlier was all about "Fear The Tea Party in a Primary" and Gingrich was having none of that, and Gingrich is all about taking back control of the GOP from the Tea Party.
He's facing a double whammy on this, though--when he built up the GOP, it was via the GOP bookstore where his books were widely read and touted. He's stated that his campaign is an ideas campaign, but, alas, we have both Democrats and Tea Partiers howling about he's in it only to sell books., and the Tea Party people are allergic to books. Gingrich's ideas are entirely in his books. Will he now turn the sound bite standard for speeches into talking books now? How else to get those ideas out?
And the Tea Party joins the Democrats in criticizing his two accounts with Tiffany's. Since when has the GOP thought being rich was a BAD thing? Well, since the Tea Party took over, that's when. That used to be something the GOP was proud of and used as a reason to tout American Exceptionalism.
Poor rich Gingrich just can't buy a break anywhere. So what's he gonna do next?

Irrelevant so far. He's just getting warmed up, though. He ain't done yet. ;)
I for one would like to see what he comes up with for Bachmann. Should be good!
